I'm setting up my vacation email and wondering if there are any internet cafes' or stations where one can use the internet to connect with the states? Any info or suggestions are always appreciated. Thanks Cherie

There are Internet cafes in most areas of Belize where visitors go -- Placencia, San Ignacio, PG, a couple in San Pedro, and elsewhere.

I was amazed at just how wired in AC is. From where I stayed (Mayan Princess)I had a IN cafe like 100' from my room. Better connection then I have at home. No worries bout checking the ol e-mail.

Officially there are 3 cafes but one is an overflow for another so really there are only two. One is on Front Street just up from Fidos and the other is right opposite La Margarita (this one is new).

The new one is in the same building as El Patio... south of town past Coconuts.
