Children's Week was celebrated between November 14-18 with different activities to give children environmental awareness with reference to our mangroves on the island. The Std. 3 students of Caye Caulker Roman Catholic School took the day out off their normal routine of classes at school and were taught to plant mangrove seedlings. Ms. Ellen McRae was instrumental in providing the much needed training to school students in the importance of preserving and conserving our environment by creating more mangrove plantations.

Thanks a bunch for posting the articles on this Message Board. Our Caye Caulker students are certainly moving up with their knowledge for the preservation and conservation of our environment.
