I think we're narrowing it down. Exotic Caye Beach Resort Playador looks good but I understand they are doing post-Hurricane Mitch construction. Does anyone know the situation?

I was recently in San Pedro and would agree with Gaz that Banyan Bay would be worth checking out and I'm sure that Gaz's place will be nice too. In regard to Exotic Caye, formerly known as Playador, it seemed quite congested and I was a bit disappointed in the appearance of the place. But perhaps that was due to construction. I am commenting simply on physical appearance, I have not stayed there. Paradise Condos also looked pretty good. Another option could be Caribbean Villas.

Hi! I would highly recommend Gaz's Condo! We stayed there the last of June! (We were the first occupants!) We were very glad we stayed north of town.

It is great and plenty of room! Very nice place and very peaceful and beautiful! We had a two bedroom and two bathroom with four people. It is fully equipped and the hospitality was wonderful! Gaz took care of us and made our trip great!!!

Well folks, we just faxed our confirmation to Banana Beach Resort for two 1-bedroom condos. We finally came to a group consensus, and decided it has just about everything we're looking for in amenities, location, and price. I'm very excited about the trip and appreciate all the help I've gotten on this board!
