Hi
As you can see my user name is a1abob (a1a for short) I'm from St. Louis. My wife and I are planning to go to AC in May (1st time)and I understand that its one of the hottest months, I was wondering how the temp, and humidity compare to St. Louis in July?

MAY good/bad

a1a,
not sure what St. Louis is like in July, but if it's anything like Tulsa, you'll be loving life on AC in May. I was there this May for my first time, and loved it. This is a guess, but I don't think temps got above 85-90 while I was there, and the evenings cooled off pretty well. Of course it was very humid, but with the breezes off the ocean, it was really very nice. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Just went in May for my first time. The weather was absolutely fantastic - couldn't have asked for better weather! There 8 nights and it rained hard the last night, but stayed warm. You're gonna love it!

We were there in mid May and the weather was beautiful. The week after we came home, thought, the deluge hit. They got something like 13 inches of rain one day around May 20th-ish. Look back at some of the posts around that time and you'll see reports that people had their 35000 gallon cisterns filled up overnight!

From what I was told, the earlier you go in May, the better off you are. It was hot during the day, but verrrrry breezy so it wasnt too bad.

The deluge was May 27, the day before I left the island. It was incredible! I was desperately hoping it would continue and my flight would be cancelled so I'd get stuck on the island, but no such luck... the weather turned beautiful the next morning.

cjd- we met a couple from CT at Capricorn one evening in May. Was that you? We were two young ladies getting Daquiries to go (there was a wedding party there we didn't want to interrupt). If it was you, you were sitting at the bar having appetizers & waiting for the restaurant to open. Sound familiar?
