After two years at their old location in Hopkins Village, Chef Rob has moved ‘Chef Rob’s Gourmet Cafe’ one mile south to Parrot Cove, one of the mostbeautiful beach locations in Belize.

With months of renovation of this petit resort completed, Parrot Cove Lodge in Hopkins in now open and so is the new “Chef Rob’s Gourmet Cafe on the Beach”. The new restaurant offers the same gourmet cuisine and friendly service – but also offers a good night sleep in one of the newly renovated rooms.

“Every day we get a fresh supply of seafood, vegetables and other products, which are the starting point of the culinary delights which make it to our menu, ‘” said Chef Rob. “The freshest supplies combined with a wealth of experience in European, Oriental, Mediterranean, New world and Caribbean cooking techniques guarantee an explosion of delicious flavors on every plate.”

Chef Rob is a true chef in a small village where the drums of the Caribbean people resonate from a distance…sometimes even from within the restaurant so that visitors can enjoy excellent food while they experince the intangible heritage of the Garifuna people.

Chef Rob’s Gourmet Cafe at Parrot Cove Lodge is open every day except Sunday evenings.

In addition, there is good news for the guests at the old house location in Hopkins Village. Chef Rob is now operating ‘Love on the Rocks’ a hot rock grill restaurant there. It is a unique and healthy dining concept that will surely will create some waves.

Ate at the old location when I was last in Hopkins...he and his wife were fantastic. And the food was delicious. And cheap! Hope they are keeping it that way.
