For tours to the ruins/interior, or private snorkeling tours, do you have any recommendations for guides or services? I am sure the hotel can help but would love to hear your thoughts.

Just one. My daughter and her friend scheduled their cave tubing through SeaDuced who made arrangements through Menesh (not sure how to spell it), and it was a disaster. I will avoid them like the plague in the future.

SEArious Adventures is fantastic! You won't regret booking with them. They're located on the dock at Ruby's hotel. Have fun!

If you want to go on a private snorkeling tour send an e-mail to Ched Cabral at [email protected] or give him a call at 0167118 when you get here... he has a really good knowledge of the reef an it's inhabitants... my warmest reccommendation....

We fish/snorkel with Mr. Luz Guerrero. He docks his boat at Holiday Hotel. He does a wonderful shore lunch with our fresh catch.
You can reach him through his daughter Corina at [email protected] or call when you get there 2034.
Belize it!

We just got back yersterday fron AC and I would suggest a guide named Daniel for a trip to the ruins where he takes you to the mainland, down the river and points out LOTs of animals. We saw crocks, Manatee, Iguana, Dolphin, Monkeys, birds, Toucan, etc. It was a great adventure. All day long. & to about 6:30. We booked it at the dive shop at Banyan Tree Resort behind Rico's Restaurant. It is a long day, but if you like animals it's worth it. Cost was $115. pp Good Luck
