There is access to wi if at most hotels, some restaurants and bars, and there are Internet cafes too. So don 't worry, you can stay connected.

OP, just use the connection recommended by your accommodation or visit one of the several internet cafes. If you're worried at all about security, download a VPN before you travel and connect through it.

I've been using HideMyAss VPN when in Belize and it works great

Just downloaded HideMyAss VPN yesterday and seemed to work well. Looking forward to using it down there. I also didn't mean to suggest any one invade another's privacy or use private connections. I hope they are all protected. I just felt the map was useful when I looked at it for the public places.

Haha, that is so true. BTL finds a lot of the VPN names by trolling this board and fb. That is why there is constantly a switch to new VPN providers.
