Who filmed in Caye Caulker and Ambergris Caye. Like the show or not, this is going to be HUGE for Belize. Huge. Each and every episode will show Belize, I promise.

I'd be surprised if they show Belize tonight other than on the previews, since they don't come here until they get down to the final few bachelorettes. I'll be watching no matter what, though -- I hope I am wrong about this!

They had so much great Belize previews...jumping out of the helicopter into the Blue Hole, that AWESOME shot of the Mayan ruins (anyone know where it was shot?)...I am giddy. Belize LOOKS AWESOME.

Back in the early '80's zeewaa Mex. was a sleeply little fishing village until the crew ships and TV cameras appeared.
Look at it now...over crowded, sewer systems clogged, time sharing, beautiful beaches full of waste, etc., water supply exhausted, etc., etc. Need I go on.

I know what you mean...I hear you. But it is super fun to see San Pedro portrayed in a beautiful way. I am into it right now.

Temptation Island.....

Yes, but that didn't seem to do anything for Belize at the time. Don't know if it helped Maurba, or Cpt Morgans either.

Hmm. . . seemed to me, more people heard about Belize because of Temptation Island. Believe that will be the case again.

Did Temptation Island even state (to the viewers) that it was filmed in Belize, though? I am embarrassed to admit that I did watch it and don't recall Belize being mentioned, but I had never even heard of Belize back then, so it wasn't on my radar. I can guarantee Belize will be mentioned on the Bachelor over and over and over.

After Tempation Island aired (credits stated filming in Belize) the type of clientele coming to the island changed dramatically. It increased tourism but not in a particularly good manner, IMO.
