From Mata Chica North its worse than I've ever seen it. In some parts its undistinguishable from the lagoon. Can't make it through to Costa Maya on a mountain bike.

And Reef Village, which was graded just before the rains began, was mogul-y again yesterday after all the rain. Certainly passable but not comfortable.

Ya can't compare the two, I'm talking 'can't get through' and Reef Village road is just a little bumpy :-)

I say, build a 360 degree tram system. Up the island 1 side and back the other.

Hmmm? So how far north is Mata Chica, from the bridge. I assume it's north?

I believe that has been proposed in the past, it was called the Corona Freeway!
