PlusNews has just received information that last night in Spanish Lookout a Ultralight training went terribly wrong for two menonites. Ultrlights are small glider type planes with a small motor that can fly low altitudes. The ultralight flight was done during the night and PlusNews understands that the plane crashed in Barton Ramey head down into a milo field. Both pilots onboard were hurt and subsequently hospitalized. We understand that Frank Plett was the trainer and has been flown to Guatemala city for treatment. Jake Braun was the trainee and is in a Belize City Hospital.
