Tonight was my first outage in cc.....not that it is a rare event from my understanding...just my first.

We lit candles and found our ball cap headlamps. After a while of sitting we decided to take a bike tour with just our headlights. Too bad the lights came on just as we were starting out

Mike, power outages during the full moon are awesome! We used to burn candles and find flashlights. Now, we run to the beach and enjoy the moon on the water with no light pollution!!

Power outage scheduled for entire Caye Caulker Village from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Wednesday, April 24. Necessary for BEL to replace equipment and a generating unit for the island’s distribution system.

BEL apologizes to customers in Caye Caulker for the recent intermittent power interruptions being experienced. BEL is working to resolve generation issues on the island, responsible for these interruptions, which may continue for an extended period of time. BEL thanks customers for their patience.
