I will be staying in San Pedro from January 14th to the 19th and really hope that we have good weather. I am showing showers almost everyday

Can someone please give some insight on what you think the weather will be like.

I feel like there is a disconnect in the forecasts for Belize and the reality of the weather on Ambergris Caye.
Ambergris Caye is a tiny tear drop of an island off the point of the Yucatan very different than Belize. The weather has been wonderful, tourist are fishing snorkeling and diving having a wonderful time.
As I read the forecasts I get the same impressions, that its bleak and rainy but seldom the case. The Caribbean weather is different and changes rapidly and definitely unpredictable.

We get that question many times from our guests. They look up "Belize" for weather, and generally every day will show "partly cloudy", "overcast" or "chance of rain". I wonder how well those sites are monitored. As Elbert said, the weather here in San Pedro has been great. We might have an occasional shower here and there over the next few months, but those are gone quickly.
