SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL MUSICIANS (i.e. Belizeans). There a number of local guys that play around. And Garifuna drummers. And the Rebels, Griga Boyz, Gilharry 7, Santinos Messengers, World Culture Band, Andy Palacio, etc.

Hey Sandshaker,

You ever get to Toronto, look me up and I'll sing a couple of specials just for you...
"After The Lovin'", and "For The Good Times", and maybe one of my favs "That's Life".

Wow, lot of Canadians on this thread - looks like I hit paydirt.

We are flying out of Calgary in mid Nov - our flights cost $867.00 Cdn each - how does that compare?

Seashell, seahorse and Wendy - whereabouts are each of you? I've lived and/or been all over Canada - have family on the east coast and the west coast - born and raised in Toronto, living in Northern Alberta..

canuk . . . unfortunately, your airfare sounds about right. Too bad for us, isn't it?

In fact, you might even be getting a little deal there on the price.

Santino's Messengers were "Alive and Well in Cozumel" tonight, some changes but still great to listen and dance to. They will be here thru Tuesday peforming on the main stage for "Carnaval 2002", This will be this Belize band's 11th consective appearance in Cozumel for "Carnaval".

I've seen them in SP, Houston, and here in Cozumel. Should you get the chance to see and hear them don't miss it.

Barefoot Skinny's shows are great, all ages love his music, he does make it a fun job.
I have seen his show, when he was sick, and he went right on, like it was easy.
His shows, add the feeling of being in paradise, and then a touch of home, too.
You get the feeling, of just GLAD TO BE HERE.

hey, skinny...ever think this board (and your reverence on it) has attributed to your relatively recent boon in popularity?!

not putting your talent aside or anything...

just an observation. [Linked Image]
