It's blowing up to 23 knots now but it should drop off on Thursday night according to Wind Guru.

It wrecks the diving outside the reef, breaks my heart every march.

Sounds like excellent conditions for extreme PWCrafting. (I'm so bad.)

A fish and a bird can fall in love, but where will they build their nest?

Elbert, back to the subject at hand. Do you believe that March is more windy than February? Many years ago, one of my regular boat captains told me that he really didn't like Feb, as it was too windy for good diving on a day to day basis.
Oddly, I've never particularly noticed that. Just lucky, I guess,as far as Feb goes.

Have been blown out a number of days, on most of my trips, in other months tho'. I think June and April trips, were the only time there wasn't at least one day of either cancelled diving, or diving, I'd have preferred to cancel.

March gets my vote for most days canceled because of wind...could be that it hurts more because we have more people wanting to go in march!
Today is a good example, 20 divers and snorkelers this morning I had to tell we're not gona do it today..5 boats on my dock aren't going anywhere and 8 divemasters standing around waiting for Cholos to open!

Just left Banana Beach and am waiting for my flight home. The seagrass was being blown up onto the seawall it was so windy overnight! It's nice and sunny though.

My anemometer has been reading between 18 and 25mph all day. Last night the winds were stronger. Good for my wind turbine and batteries but even they only need so much wind before I turn it off cause all I'm doing is dumping power.
