An unexpected incident inside the Automatic Teller Machine booth at the Punta Gorda branch of the Belize Bank has left a Toledo resident disturbed and concerned. Correspondent Paul Mahung reports.

Last time I used Belize Bank in PG there was no lock at all on the door. Someone had tried to break in and ripped the door to shreds along with the lock. Things happen in Belize. Seen times where the lines were down, ATM not working as Belize Bank was the only ATM in town. Tourists crying as they could not get any cash. Belize. At least now Scotia has an ATM so there is some backup.
