Belize Weather Forecast: April 4, 2012

General Situation:
Ambergris Caye: Conditions this morning by Elbert just before or after this post!
Belize NMS: Relatively warm and unstable conditions continue to dominate our weather.
24-hour forecast: Partly cloudy tonight with little or no rainfall. Sunny, hazy and warm tomorrow with some cloudy spells and isolated thunderstorms developing inland during the late afternoon and evening.
Winds: East - southeast 10-20 knots.
Marine Forecast: Winds: E-SE 10-20 kts.; Seas: Choppy - moderate.; Waves: 3-6 ft.; little or no rainfall. Outlook: Thursday night:- Winds: E-SE 10-20 kts.; Seas: Choppy - moderate.; Waves: 3-6 ft.; Chance of an isolated thunderstorm in the south.
Sea Surface Temp (�F): 81
Outlook: For Wed. night and Thurs is for continuing hazy and warm conditions with the chance of an isolated afternoon thunderstorm inland.
Tropical Weather Outlook: The 2011 hurricane season ended on Nov. 30th; unless any tropical cyclone forms, there will be no further reports until June 2012.

On Ambergris Caye this morning we have had an electrical storm with Thunder and rain. The expected high was forecast for 90f.
The wind is from the E-SE at 8mph. sea state is choppy with serge and high tide.

Did it rain up your way, elbert? No evidence of any here at Grand Caribe, and the San Pedro Wx page reports 0.0" received. Definitely heard plenty of thunder and our power glitched several times as well.

We had 1.01 inches at Palmero Point. Good for the cistern!

Really, too bad , it washed the dust off everything around Mexico Rocks and perked up the wilting vegetation, I went outside to make sure my down spout was connected good.
Grande caribe isn't far ,too bad.

Envious! Nope, not a drop here unless it had all dried up off the pool decks and everything by 7:30 am, which I doubt. Still dusty as ever. Glad someone benefited!
