Just use a justice of the peace,a senior one, who has the stamp they charge very little ,instead of a notary ,it's basically the same thing

A local JP or Senior JP signature is not recognized on some US documents so you are required to use a US Notary. The Belize Notaries also charge $100 Bz for stamps. JP's do not charge for their services.

Getting extra pages sewn in your passport used to be free. Last time I did it in Thailand they charged me $75.- $80. I'm not going to the meeting for fear of being violated.

It really is a shocker that they are not charging money to attend to the meeting. They'll get it from you one way or another, that's a guarantee.
