I am getting very into the french press my friend Keli gave me a year or two ago. But now that I am out of the Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks coffee that was brought down for me...I can't find any good coffee. Maxwell House seems to be the best...and it ain't great. Does anyone know where I can buy some good stuff?

I like Gallon Jug - I buy the beans and grind them to my own specs.

You can try the cigar and rum store on middle street. Saul has fresh roasted coffee. Roasts it himself.

Thats a great recommendation hazzy. I really like Caye Coffee's whole beans (Belizean Roast) and followed Dianes lead. Unfortunately bulk whole bean availability is spotty when Sara isn't around.

Premium Wines has some very good coffee, beans or ground. Very reasonable too.

To clarify - I'm hooked the Gallon Jug (not Caye Coffee) Belizean coffee - greem bag, grown organically.
It's usually in stock at the Greenhouse ...

Sounds like Bear is a fan of Caye Coffee, which is a big favorite of lots of others .... (hence the need for Sara to be around?)

Anyway - enjoy the taste and the morning buzz.

Sail away was selling their coffee retail, which is very good. A less expensive option is Premium coffee dark roast.

Also have heard excellent reviews about ABC's coffee - will HAVE to try it soon smile

if you happen to be in Chetumall they have a coffee place in the mall and you can buy it buy the pound. Very good. And we are Starbucks fans.

Gallon Jug is great... gotta make it strong though... would probably be very suited for a French Press.
