Hello,
I am a retired U.S. Firefighter, looking at the possibility of life in Belize. I am giving myself six months to a year, to see if it is a good fit for me, and I plan on arriving early July. I am looking for a 1 or 2 bedroom, in San Pedro-Ambergris Caye, between the 500USD and 1,000USD. I would really like to be around 750USD a month.
Would anyone know of any rentals available in July that fall in these guidelines? If not, do you know of any reliable management companies that I could try?
Any help, or information, would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely, -Berry

Check out: http://www.shorelinesolutionsbz.com/and //ambergriscaye.com/blease/index.html No affiliation, just know that both these specialize in long-term rentals. Good luck!

You can also check the San Pedro Sun's classified section. SAN PEDRO CLASSIFIEDS Another option (if I may suggest) is to just come on down, stay at a more inexpensive spot like Ruby's, or Pedro's Inn or Ak'Bol retreat while you look around. There are likely to be more places available in July as it is low season and this way you get a better feel for the area of town you like.....

Sorry I neglected San Pedro Daily! I usually check them also, but because the listings are free (which is a great service!), I have found some listings out of date / expired.
Wonder if Jesse could put original listing dates or another way to have them expire? Just a thought......

Thanks a bunch all! I found a place to rent for the month of July, by using the San Pedro Daily Classifieds. I figure I'll stay have the month to find a more permanent residence, while getting to know the people, and the area. I found a lot of nice places while searching, but most want 3-6 month lease minimums. For that kind of commitment, experience has taught me it is better to see a product in person, instead of on the internet. Thanks again, for the great suggestions! I'm really looking forward to July.
