Hi Everybody!!

We are now back on the island of Ambergris Caye after a hectic week on Roatan, Honduras.

As some of you may know we closed the shop to go to the Roatan Underwater Photo/Video Championship..

It was a week with a buisy schedule of dives and seminars, the elite of the underwater fotographers and videographers met up to see who is who and to exchange experiences and knowledge, and of cause to see who could bring home the price of the best pictures/ video..

The videographers of Belize Under Water Video in San Pedro made an effectful and effective entrance on the stage of hard competion.

Anta Werner took home the first price in the class for u/w videos and Patrick Bradley brought the fourth place home to us...

I feel very proud to be able to work with such good videographers in my everyday life..

We have not really decided wether or not to sell any of the videos as of this date, but it is available to be seen.. and Marty since you have a hard time to just pop by.. I'm sure we could work something out.....

While San Pedranos have been
having some problems with their
supply of drinking water, they
have earned some notable
success working under the water.
At a competition held in the Bay
Islands last week a pair of
videographers from San Pedro
took first and fourth place out of over fifty entries. The
divers, each equipped with an underwater
videocamera, were turned loose for a week and then
asked to edit a three to four minute compilation of
their best shots. Anta Werner of Belize Underwater
Video, took the top prize. Fourth place was won by
Patrick Bradley, also of Belize Underwater Video. For
her winning entry, Werner won a free week's stay at a
dive resort in Roatan.

When was this on??? We were told it was going to be on during the news yesterday.. and were watching but could not see it... I thought we got bumped off the air due to the other top stories...

I am so proud to know Anta, Patrick and Tinka. I hope everyone who goes to A/C can make use of their talent. If you are not a diver I'm sure they would be happy to do some land stuff with you.

I have participated in and helped organize u/w shootouts and believe me, the competition is tough. The judges in Roatan were world renowned u/w videographers. Jim Churh, one of the judges, emailed me and said that Anta's first place was unanimous. YOU GO ANTA!

Patrick is also a wonder. He has been doing video for less than a year and does wonderful work. Tinka is the editor and her fade ins/outs are perfectly timed to the scene and the music.

It's people like these that make San Pedro the place where I want to live.
