Ian Anderson's Caves Branch lodge has a trip or two that includes rapeling (?) into sinkholes and such. Personally, I wouldn't do this unless there were a cold rum and tonic waiting at the bottom.

we did it, 280 feet down the cliff...

i would have bet the farm my wife didn't go over that cliff, but she did! We thought we were going cave tubing, we didn't read the tour we were on!

a couple hour hike thru the woods, then an incredible rapel (sp?) off the cliff. then we spent quite some time going thru the caves at the bottom.

Ian's place is incredible also. see picks at: //AmbergrisCaye.com/pages/photos/378.html

and click thru a few pics, theres a dozen or so pages of pics....

we had my wife and I, and 4 teenagers, and none of us had rapelled before, and it was great...

Yes, we were with Ian. You mean where you spend the night in the caves? The 'honeymoon' tour? Was told some amazing stories about this one, I'd highly recommend it. Tony, who does the parasailing trip off Fido's dock, said it was the most amazing thing he has ever done. And the list of stuff he has done includes some pretty remarkable things!

They pack in everything one might need, bed, candles, food, feathers (tee hee), and there is a river you can swim in in the cave where you spend the night. sounds rad.
