BAGA Tombstone Golf Tournament

This Saturday, May 12, is the BAGA (Belize Amateur Golf Association) 5th Monthly Tournament. It is a different format than normal, but we will still have Gross, Net and Senior trophies.

2nd Annual Belize Golf World Cup

Saturday, May 19, is the date for the 2nd Annual Belize Golf World Cup, sponsored by Corkers Restaurant, which starts at 8:00 a.m. on the Roaring River Golf Course.

Last year, the Belizean Americas team trounced the Belizean European team, 11pts - 6pts.

The Belizean European team has unanimously voted Sam Mathias to be at the helm. But the Belizean Americas team still has not voted for a captain. All the players reside in Belize and are regular players in our tournaments.

Here are the players confirmed:

Belize European team – Andy Hunt, Alan Graham, Sam Mathias, Lucas Hunt, Jim Comber, Slavik Machacka, Geoff Gembling, Steve Hack, Paul Martin, Sean Smithson, Michel Ardoullie.

Belize Americas team – Mickey Thornton, Rob Lee, Steve Maestre, John Sansone, Bill McKenzie, Boris Vostry, Ray Garbutt, Sr.

Proceeds go to the Dangriga Cancer Society.
