Are there any celebrations on AC planned to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee on June 4th?

I think Caribbean Villas is having a Jubilee party from 4pm, music and that British culinary favorite, Roast Pig. If past parties are anything to go by, that'll be a good'un.

and I don't think you have to show your British passport to get in either :-)

Which cable TV channel will be showing this event - anyone know?

All the major networks will be airing shows on Monday and Tuesday. Channels 14, 15, 16 and 17. Plus CNN, fox news etc. can't remember their numbers I think 55 and 56.

By the way we are going to Caribbean villas saturday June 9th to toast the queen and celebrate some birthdays. Maybe you and Debbie can join us there for an evening of fun.

Will AC be lighting a beacon to be one of the 3,800 beacons lit on the 4th to celebrate her jubilee? If so where?
The first of 3, 800 beacons will be lit at 10pm, June 4th in Figi, the chain will continue around the globe and the last lit in Canada some 8 hours later.
