The middle street road closure to repair the portion of roadway from the turning just next to the fire station up to Castillos is absolutely killing Martha and Alfredo's business (never mind ours and Geo's Hideaway cafe). Mayor Danny & Mr Heredia have just visited to see progress, which they say will take at least 12 days. They've arranged infill for the really bad back road which is happening right now.

it's 7pm on a Saturday evening, and 6 SPTC workers are out in the street preparing for the construction of the middle gutter portion of the road.

They'll be working Sunday too, to get this moving along. Unfortunately, the SPTC hasn't provided any water to mix the cement.

You gotta laugh sometimes otherwise you'll cry.
