Progress is being made however - although it's drastically affecting the businesses between Castillo's and the Fire Station - ours (fab bread, pastries and a very quiet terrace for dinner), Martha the fruit and veg seller (very nice cantaloupes right now), and Geo's Hideaway cafe & meat market (38 varieties of Running W meats!). Of the 64 concrete slabs to be laid, they've now completed about 29 of them, and the central gutter. Causing real problems is the yellow tape across the road both ends and the ban on bikes cycling through whilst they lay the concrete. Causing havoc for Annie's pastries' bike cart and also the food /patty/ pie sellers with large coolers.
On the other hand this will be the ideal spot for any kids with skates/ boards once it's finished, particularly since drivers will be yet once more inconvenienced by the planned speed bump a little further towards Castillos....
Not sure if this affects Dr Dan's business....
