In responce to Melissa's missing post, I thought it was the the proper time to bring up the subject of us senior citizens. Don't any bars on AC over a senior citizen discount to us older alcoholics? I sure hope you are listening there Charlene, because the Zekester will be down there in November and he is getting really depressed and thirsty over these current world events. Think I gotta drink my sorrows away! I know they will still be there tomorrow, but the hell with it because it sure feels better at the time.

Right on! Zeke. I never gave a thought to a seniors' discount. What a great idea. I sure hope Charlene is tuned in. And Margie and Ada too.

I still like watching them unload that barge. Every so often someone or something falls overboard, and it's entertainment that can't be bought for any money.

Hmmmmmm. I think we're on to something extraordinarily productive here. Additionally, the simple math tells me that the more you consume the MORE YOU SAVE!

Zeke, once again you've proven that you ARE a friggin' genius.

Hey Zeke,

What do you consider overage? My soon-to-be (one week to go) husband and I are going to AC in November for our honeymoon and would gladly be considered overaged if it will stretch our Canadian dollars further!

ChooChoo, while I think that the idea of a Senior discount is an excellent one (Zeke, congratulations on a truely monumental brainstorm!), the logic that you used strikes me as one that SWMBO would use to justify the purchase of lots of goodies on sale at the local department store! Let's try to use a different analogy. Still ... , the idea that you can drink more and save more..., well, it's growing on me. Need to have another "blue refreshment" to contemplate this idea.

Yes, the logic is certainly suspect in origin, but after years of shrugging such well meaning irrationality off, I decided that perhaps we "senior" gentlemen(?) could also make it work for us.

The theory, when applied to the purchase of adult beverages, would seem to have unbounded possibilities.

I need to stimulate the grey matter here. Over ice will be just fine, thank you.
