Anyone know the easy way to Roatan from San Pedro Belize.

What would you consider easy and what's your budget?

Tropic to san Pedro Sula....bus to La Ceiba....ferry Roatan.
I just got back from Utila and it was really easy and connections clear

We flew in the opposite direction: Roatan to San Pedro Sula to San Salvador to Belize City via Taca, then Tropic to Caye Caulker. Took 4 or 5 hours.

We took took Maya from Belize to San Pedro Sula (nice discount for cash i recall). Coming back off Utila was hampered by a tropical storm, and the ferries weren't operating. I called Maya who changed our tickets ($50) and we were able to catch a flight on the saturday(we didn't realize but Maya don't run the service on a saturday) - when maya put on a "private" plane just for two of us back to belize because we'd notified them of the difficulty leaving the island! great service. We took a local bus to La Ceiba from SPS on the way there and had to overnight there as we got there too late for the last ferry - didn't look into an express bus as we weren't pressed for time and wanted to just amble from SPS to Ceiba. Can't say i'd want to hang out in SPS for any length of time though....

Easiest way is to fly Tropic Air from Belize City to San Pedro Sula and then from San Pedro Sula to Roatan.

The flight over Belize is gorgeous.

There is also a boat trip or a guy who drives a van from Belize City to San Pedro Sula once a week. Good luck!

By the way, Tropic is planning to do a direct flight from Belize City to Roatan at some point...but not sure when.

I just booked this flight from BZE to SAP for some guests staying with us in July. I also made their flight from SAP to Roatan. Was relatively easy to do online, and reasonable.
