Conch/Konk or Abalone is shellfish that has a very tough meat inside. It is considered a delicacy due to the fact that it has a definite harvest season. When seasoned correctly and cooked for the appropriate amount of time this meat can be quite delicious. This soup is savory and spicy and very filling.
