It's too early and there's not enough info to assume anything, but . . .
Sari Vidrine's call to her parents yesterday indicated that all the boats tied up on the lagoon side at the Boatyard were loose and/or damaged. Nothing was said about boats on land and drydocked. Water was reported at between 6 and 8 feet at one point on the Boatyard grounds, but that sounded temporary, . . . a few hours later I heard that people were sloshing their way through the Boatyard grounds - ergo 1' to 3' of water.
I am Tom Vidrine's brother (Sari's brother-in-law) so I have a sincere interest in the Boatyard, as well as the island as a whole. Feel free to contact me via e-mail, and I'll pass on more info as I get it.
We're just grateful that are no reports of human casualties at this point!
