My husband and I are planning to come to AC for New Year. However, we have not booked anywhere yet - have we left it too late to find somewhere to stay? We are looking for a room for 31 Dec-6 Jan, does anyone have any suggestions please....thanks V

we always suggest the Holiday Hotel!!!

you need to give us a better idea what you have in mind, ie privacy or partying, diving, fishing or relaxing, etc. and also what you are interested in paying per night. there are so many terrific places to stay.

To be honest I didn’t think that at this late stage we could afford to be too specific – but here is our wish list…….

Quiet, romantic, on a good sandy beach with good snorkelling and water sports eg windsurfing

Away from the main hustle & bustle but close enough to pop in to try out some of the good restaurants. Ideally it would also have a pool but not essential…I guess a budget would be between $150-200 per night.

But do you think we will find anywhere with availability for those dates (31 Dec-6 Jan)– unfortunately we cant change them. Hope this info makes my question a bit clearer!

Try the Sun Breeze, Julia emailed me yesterday and said she had a cancellation for the week, but I had already booked with the Holiday.

Just S of the Victoria is Caribe Island. A little less pricey, but has all you asked for. The Lion's Club has a NY Eve party for about $10 us per head. Low key and locals favorite.
