Leave the dressy stuff at home. You can go to any restaurant on the island with no shoes on. A nice, cool, long dress that will blow in the breeze will be nice for her (and no shoes), and kahki shorts and T-shirt (OK, with a collar if you really want to be dressy) will be great for you (and no shoes). If she forces you, you won't be too uncomfortable in some long kahki's or chinos (but you won't stay in them for long!)
Have a wonderful time!

On our first trip, I insisted that we bring some dressy clothes. We wasted valuable gear space!!! Don't do it. You'll find that it's way to warm to wear what most of us call "dressy". You'll both be happier with t-shirts/tanks, shorts & flip flops. If your honey wants to dress a little, maybe she'll want a sarong & tank top. It's festive & completely in line with local dress. After two trips and our third planned for thanksgiving I've almost got it down! ![[Linked Image]](//ambergriscaye.com/message/smile.gif) Loie
