No, Mexico is on the same time as Belize now. Unless we were off by an hour on our entire trip there recently.

You are correct. They changed at the first of November. It's still hard to make it to San Pedro from Cancun in one day unless you land before 10:00 am.

Anyone know how to purchase tickets for Ado online with a US credit card? Neither www.ado.com.mx nor ticketbus will accept them.

not sure, but i will be prebuying my ticket next time through gettransfers.com travelling home for xmas i didn't have a ticket and the express to cancun airport was full and had to take the next bus which went downtown cancun which meant i would have to wait for a bus going back to the airport to catch the shuttle to the marriott. got off in playa del carmen and got a cab. more money but saved a lot of time. i will have my ticket when i cross the border next time

One of the water taxi companies claims to be "the authorised ADO agent". Maybe ADO tickets can be purchased online through them?

We are American/Belizeans living in San Pedro and it is not possible to buy bus tickets online with a American credit card
but...you can buy your tickets in advance from Jet Xpress
in San Pedro (as of 3 weeks ago credit cards of any kind were not accepted at ADO at all.......
