hi everyone,
trying to plan a trip to Ambergris Caye. .
wanting to know if tranquility bay is a good choice
for a relaxing vacation. i see thats its on the north side.

It is a wonderful place. My wife and I stayed there 2 years ago and absolutely loved it. Carlos and his wife are not there now so I don't know about the management, but the location cannot be beat. Here is the link to our trip report:

thanks azbob for the info. .they do have great reviews. i read
that carlo and idabella left. .they hired a guy named pete,he
managed the resort in 2006-2007. i read that they have closed
the dive shop temp. and are using a local dive shop for now.

I would agree about the location. It's simply unbeatable for beauty and relaxation! It's really pretty much out there on it's own, so there won't be much to do in the evening and nothing else really around.

You can also book some environmental trips with The Turtleman right next door.

thank you for the info. .i tesd that there was a
couple of resorts close by,but they closed down.
are there any roads up there? have anyone heard of
any new businesses going to oprn in the near future?

That's the problem lisalee, they say they are using a local dive shop but there isn't one on that end of the island. latest I've heard is they are charging 60. usd to boat divers to town and dive with shops there. No road or dive shops on that end.
but dito on the beautiful end of the island and nice place, just not a dive operation at the moment.

thank you elbert for the info. .
i was at a local water show event here in fl.
when a guy came out with his jet ski and a fly board.
i about lost my mind. .lol. .that is new to me!!!! i totally loved
that. .going to do that soon. .do any resorts offer that?
