We were very surprised to see that the colorful, pieced together shack in Grand Belizean Estates we'd been watching grow over the past year and half was gone when we rode our bikes around there yesterday. It was there two weeks ago and had quite a bit added onto it since this photo we shot a year ago.

All that's left now is a pile of rubble, plus the stone wall that was under slow construction beside it.

Anyone know the scoop?

Hmmmmm, didn't think about the sign, but I'm wondering if they're bringing prospects in from the lagoon-side now so as not to turn them off by the badness of the north road? The road from the lagoon to GBE is in excellent shape, so maybe they moved the sign to the lagoon side?

Could be. I did notice when I was on the lagoon side someone was off-loading a large quanity of concrete. I spoke with someone about it and they said it was for a new cell tower. Any word on that?

I am surprised they would need another tower. Isn't there one...up past Indigo?
