Coming down for a relocation fact gathering vacation. What's a good, reasonable place to stay in San Pedro?

You will get a lot of advise if you give a little more information since "good & reasonable" are very subjective. Do you want to be in town or isolated, night life, wfii, budget would help. It will be great no matter your preference.

In town, San Pedro........Pool......A/C......and budget friendly. Don't really care about nightlife or wifi. Hope that helps.

We prefer the Sunbreeze Hotel--across from airport, walk to town, has pool & a/c, and on-site restaurant. Have stayed 5 times and always had good service.

What's budget friendly? That can also mean something different to different people. If you are going by having a pool, look at Paradise Villas and the more "budget", The Tides.

Agreed SS. Paradise villas is perfectly located, quiet and all units have kitchenettes. Two grocery stores, a fruit stand across the street and wet willy,s is seconds away.....but keep it quiet...

Dr, "pool" and "budget friendly" don't go well together if your budget is under $100/night. Over that ($100-200), the ones recommended are excellent plus several more. Under that, Ruby's Hotel in town, on the beach, but no pool. They have 4 rooms with AC (very basic rooms) @ $65 US/night. I've stayed there 3 times and am going back.

Now with a pool you'll have to go a couple of blocks off the beach @ $65-75US: google: Cheap Hotel San Pedro Belize. I have not stayed there because I must have beach and water at my front door!!
