Finally !
San Pedros children will learn about Caribbean music.
Carlos Perrote, former music director and percussionist of the late Andy Palacio and the Garifuna Collective will teach daily 90 minutes classes Monday to Friday at the San Pedro High School,during the First San Pedro Music Summer Camp from July 22 to August 9, 2013. Children ages 5-18 will learn how to play Steel Pan, Garifuna drums, Congas, Tamboras, Batas, Cajon, drum set, piano and guitar... All percussion instruments will be provided.
Carlos Perrote is a University graduated music teacher with Master's degree. He is currently the music director of the Grace Primary Music School and the Holy Redeemer Marching Band in Belize City.
