I would request replies to the question posted. I need to know specifics about who to contact, or what Belize govn't agency to talk to in order to find out the exact requirements for being able to live and reside in Belize. Specifically, if someone has a felony in their somewhat recent past (non-violent), can a person still be accepted and granted residency. I have a trade in which I can work, and I am employable or I can set up a small business as I have done in the past. I am a men's barber by trade, and I have owned 5 barber shops in my 35+ year career. I may be taking early retirement, but from what I have read it will not meet the $2,000 a month that I saw on some post here recently.

Here is the link to the email to contact. rgodfey@travelbelize.org Don't know how you can get around the 24k a year requirement. You can start a business but can't just work as an employee unless you get a work permit in Belize.
