It was an impressive start of the Lagoon Reef Eco Challenge 2013 as 20 teams entered this years race, now in its ninth year. The kick off was a little after 7a.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2013, and the final leg of the race ended at Central Park the next day Sunday, July 7, 2013. It was a senior, junior and female race this year and taking the top prize was Team Happy Cow for the senior division.
Team Happy Cow and Team Sparta Boys were head to head throughout the competition but in the end of the gruesome race it was Team Happy Cow that took 1st place.
