I was thinking of taking some things to give to local school or the children as gifts. E.g. Felt tip pens, colouring books etc....
Would this be ok? Any advice on where to hand them in could I taken them straight in to the school?

Take to school, do not distribute to the kids directly.

We have taken things to Ocean Academy (high school). Google their website to contact them and inquire as to what they need. Many items are put in a store that is used to incent good behavior and studying.
