I found a good fare flying down at the end of May, but the Dallas to BZE is a Taca flight. Anyone have any experiences/comments to share before I book this? Are they on time? Yucky planes? Help me!

Every Taca flight I have been on was fine, but I have not used them for 2 years.
They used to serve their liquor for free!

I flew Taca down 2 years ago and had a great flight except we had to go to San Pedro Sula and fly back up to Belize on a smaller plane, but it was just a small inconvenience.

Thanks for the info--Dana was that a scheduled flight to San Pedro Sula? This flight is listed as Dallas to Belize City.

TakeAChanceAirline Is the best of all the Airlines flying to Belize.(I say) Newer Airbus equipt. and a bit more legroom than AA or Cont. The Drinks are free and the service still reflects the old days when you were treated as a customer by the Airlines..Give them a try I think you'll like them..

They are notorious for cancelling flights at last minute (like, while you are standing on the tarmac). Been stranded twice. And brush up on your Spanish.

Always got good service with TACA, BUT as someone before said.. also been stranded twice in San Pedro Sula AND also lost ALL the checked in lagguage in San Pedro Sula TWICE!!! so my excperience is: Flying direct: everything is good, go by San Pedro Sula .. never again...
