I love a quiet storm season!
What is scary to me is how wrong the forecasts for this season have been. We rely on the forecasters to give advice that preserves life and property. Methinks they need more tools, more studies, more support --- ? We could end up with a busy season after all, but it would likely be due to yet another underlying factor we don't yet understand.

My own plan is currently as follows - prepare for the worst, hope for the best, look at Intellicast infra-red satellite images every morning and evacuate if the birds leave.

Quite right Diane. These last couple of rains have caught us off guard - as the old saying goes "with our pants down." Had to hustle to cover cement bags and lumber.
