I am coming to AC on Jan 19th, I don't plan on watching much T.V., but would like to watch one NFL playoff game. Does anyone know first of all if the games will be on there? If they are, any recommendations for a good place to watch? Thank you.

My personal recommendation would be from one of the extremely comfortable bar stools on the north side of the bar at BC's. The TV will be over your right shoulder, and the Caribbean will be over your left. Directly in front of you will be....a VERY accomodating bar!
Most of the larger or more popular bars have TV's. Cable is everywhere on the island.

Romeo,
You will notice from a careful reading of my reply that when watching football at BC's one's back is to the water, the sand, and the potential viewing of nubile "island lassies" frequently passing by. Ergo, the active watching of sporting events at BC's is encouraged by the wives with much enthusiasm.
Honest.

Romeo, You will notice from my original question I only want to spend a short time of my week on AC watching football which I am sure is something my wife knows will keep me happy for the rest of the week. Luckily thanks to CC's recommendation it will also be at a spot my wife will approve of as my eyes will be glued to the t.v. with little chance to turn around and enjoy the scenery

CHOOCHOO, I saw you at BCs that Sunday, you were strategically situated watching the niners - and your wife was out shopping. I think that's a great compromise! The best BBQ I ever had too!

Gela, Your observations are are correct up to a point. You left before the mayhem began. Started with something like "if you'll promise to drink it, I'll buy it". Yikes!

marathonac, Thanks for asking this question. I'll be in ac on the 19th too, and wouldn't miss the playoff game. I'll be with a couple of my other girlfriends who are traveling with me. We'll see you at the bar.

Ok, I'm not getting this one... I can figure out what AC is... but what is BC short for?
Sounds like a great place...

BC's is oceanside emporium of adult beverages, great lunch chow, and very yummy Sunday BBQ's, not to mention Thursday night Cajun entrees. Located betwixt the Palms and the Sunbreeze it is easy to find from the water side, a bit more of a challenge from Coconut Drive. The BC stands for the owners, Bruce and Charlene.
