Ambergris Caye: Conditions this morning by Elbert just before or after this post!
Belize NMS:
A broad area of low pressure over the area supports very moist and unstable conditions. Gusty winds during heavy showers and thunderstorms will result in locally rough seas.
Advisories: *Small craft caution for gusty winds and locally rough seas near heavy showers and thunderstorms.*
24-hour forecast:
Cloudy to overcast skies with some showers, thunderstorms and periods of rain., especially over northern and coastal areas this morning and tonight and inland areas this afternoon.
Winds:
East-southeast 5-15 knots with higher gusts near showers and thunderstorms.
Marine Forecast: Today:
Winds: E-SE 5-15 kts.; seas: Light chop - choppy.; waves: 2-4 ft.; some showers, thunderstorms and periods of rain with gusty winds and locally rough seas.
Outlook:
Thursday night:- Winds: SE 10-20 kts.; seas: Moderate.; waves: 4-6 ft.; a few showers, thunderstorms and perods of rain with gusty winds and locally rough seas.

Similar weather will continue on thursday while a few showers, thunderstorms and periods of rain are expected mainly along northern and coastal areas on Thursday night.
Tropical Weather Outlook: Intense and continuous rainfall especially along coastal areas for the past several hours may potentially lead to localized coastal flooding!!!

Lots of rain on the north end of the island. 5 1/4" since 6pm last night for a total of 10 1/2" in the past 24 hours. The cistern is full, rain towels soaked and garden watered.
