Didn't stay at Xanadu - but Blue Tang is nice because it is in town (centrally located), there are mini kitchens in each room (pretty well equipped) and for the price, well worth it. There is a tiny "token" pool - not one you'd want to lay out at all day. The beach is fairly well trafficked - again, probably not someplace you would lay out at all day. But if your needs are to have a place to depart from in the a.m. and come back to the the afternoon for a few drinks, store some food there ... I'd say Blue Tang is nice. It is "quaint & rustic" but clean & front desk is very nice. Enjoy!

See my message in the Post "Blue Tang Qustions". I think you will love the Blue Tang, but from its website, the Xanadu looks nice as well. The Blue Tang's location is hard to beat, though- close to town, but quiet.
