Yea! our first trip to AC really soon! Can't wait! I always try to go someplace special for my birthday 2/1. Any suggestions for the "best restaurant" on Ambergris Caye? (P.S. Staying at Banyan Bay)

I think most people would say it is Capricorn, although Rendezvous and Mambo might be in the running.

Capricorn, definitely. The food, ambience, location. It was wonderful! I took a water taxi there.

Yes, yes, yes Capricorn. We had Chritmas eve and New Years eve dinners there and can not say enough great things about it! They will arrange the water taxi for you just tell them where you are staying.

Was there on my birthday last April. Had a party at Holiday Hotel Bar. Then my wife and I had dinner at Capricorn. It was great and would highly recommend.

We love Capricorn BUT I also highly recommend Victoria House (we keep it for special occasions in our family) or the new Blue Water Grill (they have taken over the old Caruso restaurant) and the food is great.

Blue Water Grill gets my vote too. Great seafood dishes and nice atmosphere while right in town. You can stumble to BC's for a celebratory night cap or four after dinner.
