Hello

We are booked! After reading this board and scanning the great web site we have decided to spend 11 days in SP. We are both very excited and have some questions.......that have probably been answered before.......however. We are staying at the Palms. Are there any good places for breakfast near by? Any great beachfront bars?
We would like to take in as much snorkeling as possible including a Manatee trip. Any preferences as to who offers the best tours?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Go with Daniel from Tanisha on his manatee trip. I have not done it, but have done his Laminai trip and would go to Antartica if he offered it as a day trip. This guy is good.

We stayed at the Palms and got breakfast at that small restaurant across from the Airport. Only about a block away. Don't worry, noise was not a problem being that close to the airport. I did not notice it at all, of couse that may have had something to do with the Belikins and Rum that I was consuming LOL.

I am sure someone will be able to tell you the name of the place across from the airport. GREAT FOOD. We had lunch there too. Good prices too!

You picked one of the more awesome places. Do not take a taxi from the airport. It is literally across the street. The new restaurant down about two doors is awesome at the Sunbreeze. If you are there on a Sunday do not miss the Bar B Que at BC's. Only about four doors down. Great bar! Send Ernie and Charlene regards from Laura and Robert from Colorado if you go by.

Also you are walking distance to the grocery store for snacks since the palms has a full kitchen in each unit. Also, email the palms and they can have sodas, beer and fresh oj delivered to your room from the distributor. Cheaper than the store and they don't mark it up. Just be kind and tip the guest services guy for getting for you.

if you need more details email me at [email protected]

The best places (IMHO) are Estelle's, Lily's and Paradise...all on the beach and not very far from the Palms.
Absolutely go to BC's....good food and GREAT people. Tell Charlene the Pirate said "HI!" and tell Ernie hello from Colorado. Robert is right..the Sunday BBQ is not to be missed..fill your belly at BC's, then meander up to Palapa in the afternoon for some singalong fun!
