We have guests in town who are musicians (guitarists), and they would love to perform at a restaurant, bar, or resort this week. They are singer-songwriters with a folksy, coffee shop vibe. They're not looking for a paying gig, they'd just like to play for people, and their laid-back style doesn't fit with the usual jam-night events.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Average Joe's now has an open mike night from 730 pm until 930 pm, Anything within reason will do...acoustic, electric, spoken word, even comedy.
Last night saw Ted Scott,a classical pianist, an auto harpist(Kathleen has a wonderful voice),Gordon on the banjo and Jack, a lap steel player.
Eclectic, homespun music like an old coffee house environment...all are welcomed.

Also, Ambergris Brew Company has busking nights on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the late afternoon with Keith or Tull performing in front of the shop. Guest musicians are usually welcomed, it's a very friendly environment.
