Hi guys:

It's been great to read all the suggestions -- but, as we all know, nothing beats actually having seen everything oneself. Thus my question: we're flying down to BZE this coming Friday. We haven't really quite mapped out our trip -- we want to do some diving and R&R on the first 5 or 6 days or so, and then maybe go off to the rainforest for another few days. Is it imperative to have resevations for the full time we are going to be in or around AC, or can we show up with a one night reservation and then just figure out on location what we like best?

In other words, is it super busy at this time of year? Your advice is much appreciated!

There is and will be plenty of room on the island....some hotels will be full, but most will have space. The only rider to that....if you're looking for a hotel within a certain price range you might have difficulty. If your budget is flexible you shouldn't have any trouble finding accommodations to fit your needs.
