Ambergris Caye: Conditions this morning by Elbert just before or after this post!
Belize NMS: Relatively moist and fair conditions prevail. Cold front approaching, will cross the country tomorrow.
Advisories: None.
24-hour forecast: Cloudy skies with a few showers, isolated thunderstorms and periods of rain mostly along the coast this morning, then increasing over most areas this afternoon and tonight, especially over the south and coast.
Winds: North - northwest 10-20 knots, increasing to 15 - 25 kts and gusty later this afternoon and tonight.
Marine Forecast:
Today: Winds: N-NW 10-20 kts. Becmg 15-25 kts and gusty this evening.; seas: Moderate at first then becmg rough.; waves: 3-5 ft. Increasing to 4-7 ft.; a few showers, isolated thunderstorms and periods of rain.
Tomorrow: Winds: N-NW 10-20 kts. With occnl higher gusts.; seas: Mod - rough,; waves: 4-7 ft.; Small craft caution.; mainly fair and cool with little or no rainfall.

OP Marty	From Belmopan... 09:30 BZT As you see, the Cold front is getting closer, but its tip is fading, but there is a second one behind it. . .. . This NW cold air is pushing against the Caribbean E air and much of the area is now stationary. There are quite a few Rain showers from this, but most of them are relatively stationary, just flaring up over the sea and dissipating, just up in Mexico are they moving from the W. . . ..A few over land, which might be increasing over the day

OP Marty	The Arctic polar jet stream is plunging far to the south so it looks like Belize is going to experience some very cool weather for the next 3 or 4 days. Strong 1021 High Pressure is likely to build over the Yucatan which will result in some cold nights.
