Hi, I'm a scuba instructor on Caye Caulker and am freezing my butt off on the boat these days. Is there a place in San Pedro where you can buy nice gore-texy rain jackets? All I can find are the yellow construction-type rain slickers and those are too cumbersome and sweaty to really work in.

Captain Sharks has lots of very effective rain/weather suits.

We use these on the dock. Order one and have someone bring it down for you...

3:30 (Right Now) the divers coming back onto the dock are reporting 77 f. That's chilly for us.

73 degrees at the Blue Hole yesterday. Still fine with full 3mm suit and a nice layer of blubber. It's the windy/splashy boat ride that gets me. Thanks for the tips, will check out Sharky's first chance I get for a quick fix, and look around for a mule for the US brand.

Hey Chris - full suit being with full arms and legs? I was just thinking of bringing my shortie suit?

Yes, by full suit I mean long, with long arms and legs. For right now, if you got a long suit, I'd bring it! I've seen people from FINLAND shiver last week! Despite full wetsuit. It's the cold air and lack of sun to warm up inbetween and on the boat rides that makes is a bit chilly right now.
